Bikes: 70s Raleigh Grand Prix

Dynamax? Anyone know it?

Picked it up at a rummage sale and am curious about the branding/name. The only info I found was an old thread from bf.n that seemed to imply they used to be sold at random non-bike stores (Pep Boys?). There's a "609" on the underside of the BB shell, it has Huret Allvit derailleurs and Huret shifters, Racer brakes. So, yeah, I'm just curious. I'm sure I didn't strike rummage sale gold but I'm happy with the frame, it feels a little lighter than the Raleigh Grand Prix that I normally ride. Thanks to anyone that happens to have any info.

The name rings a bell with me, but I cannot place it right at this minute. However, with Huret Allvit derailleurs you are talking about a bike sold in the 1960's. These derailleurs were simply awful to shift-very hard to pull with the shifters. I would take a Raleigh Grand Prix over it any day of the week.
