Shimano Gold Arrow components
I saw the mention of Shimano 105 Gold Arrow components in the Ross Signature thread. My 1984 Raleigh Super Course has the gold arrow design on the shifters and the front deraileur but the back deraileur has the arrow design in black. Is the rear deraileur also a 105? I've wondered for awhile what model these deraileurs are. I've long since lost the all the paperwork that I got with the bike when I purchased it in '85.

Yes, it's a Shimano 105 derailleur, but from a different time period. They also came with blue logos. Offhand, I don't remember which came out first, but if you check the back of the derailleurs, you will find two letter date codes that you can decypher using the info on https://www.vintage-trek.com/component_dates.htm .

Anyone have images of the Golden Arrow group? Google knows nothing.
