Need Help With Schwinn
I do not know very much about Schwinn and their 10 speeds. Is this bike worth refurbishing or should I just donate it after swapping out the seat? I picked up this bike at a garage sale for the Nishiki signed seat. The bike is a 65cm frame, Le Toure Luxe. The paint polishes up real well, but there is significant discoloration/damage to the paint and logo on the down tube. From what research I have done, it appears the components are all original, including the cool pedals. Is there any value to this bike? I'm too small to use this size frame so I would only be fixing it to list on ebay. Any help you can provide I would appreciate.

And those old LeTours can bring decent money. They weren't bad bikes.

For a Schwinn afficianado a Le Tour is a great bike.
You will have to be the one who determines if you
want to put the time and effort into restoring it.
Anything you want to know will be answered here.
If you live near Vermont I will come unburden you of
it

Sorry, I don't live near Vermont, (North Carolina) so I don't think we can work something out. But I appreciate the comments from both posts. I'm not sure if I'm going to clean up the Schwinn or just donate it after swapping out the Nishiki saddle.
