Is it a 1970 Crescent?

I'm new to biking in general and I recieved a Crescent from a friend as a birthday present recently. I've looked around a bit and found a few pictures that look almost like it. Mine has a curved top tube and I can't seem to find any others that way. I say it's a '70 but i really have no idea what year it is, as I've found no picture to confirm it. I had read something about the angles beingh modified in the 80s bu again... no pic. Are there any Crescent buffs out there? Can someone help me with my first "new" bike since I was in High School?

I saw in another thread that some crescents are good bikes and some are crap... How will I know the difference? It seems to ride fine...

Thanks!!

The curved top tube on mine doesn't match any pictures I've seen... It's the same color and same decals but not quite the same. do you know where i can find a more recent catalog?

Does anyone out there particularly like these bikes? and maybe know a little history?

Curved top tube? Is it a cruiser or a geared road bike? I would assume a cruiser, as I never heard of a curvy road bike, do you have any pictures of it?

I gotta get some pictures up of it but it is indeed a 10-speed road bike. The only curve is in the top tube. It's just the slightest bit arched. The rest looks like a typical road bike. It's a little odd...
I think I saw a comparable pic somewhere... I'll have to go a lookin' for it.
