Looks like a great frame I'm sure some of the bianchi experts will chime In with a actual ID. What I know is that only Bianchis top shelf frames were built in the reparto course workshop. What size is it?

Bikes: yeah; got a couple...

My guess is late '80s, as it looks like all their frames made before '86 used top tube cable guides. What does the tubing label say?

Bikes: Crap. The box is not big enough...

That's one of the good ones. Reparto Corse is the equivalent of a Works Shop, where you go to buy custom. Vertical dropouts and internal cableways are late 80's - early 90's anyway.

Thanks for your input. The frame is a 53-55?
The tubing label says:
COLUMBUS
TUBI SPECIALI RINFORZATI
OVER SIZE
ACCIAIO NIVA CROM
EXTRA EL LEGGERI

If youre ever interested in letting it go pm I'd be interested in it (a celeste Bianchi is on my wish list).

are you sure it is not a 59cm, hence the 59 stamped on the BB shell? The frame certanly looks to be that size considering the stear tube length.

I agree with cyclotoine, looks larger than 56, likely 58-59ish to my eyes. The celeste Bianchis are not a taste I have yet to aquire though.

OS tubes would seem to put it into the very late 1980s. The decals changed in the very early 1990s, so I don't think it goes much past 1990.

I've had two, and they have both been stamped with the size, like that, on the bottom bracket...what does it measure? (center of the bottom bracket shell to centerline of the top tube, more than likely).
