3-speed kick backs

look, i'm new, yo...

i'm sure bindex made a 3 speed kick back hub.

if i'm wrong, please tell me who made 3 speed kick backs around 1960.

and, if i could get some exploded views of 2 speed bindex kick backs, (bindex) it would be fan-freakin'-tastic.

thanks,
jason.

If you are refering to 'Bendex', as far as I know they only made coaster brake and 2 speed coaster brake hubs. I am not aware that they ever made 3 speed hubs, but perhaps someone out there can confirm.

Sorry ! You are absolutely correct, it is Bendix, not Bendex. I guess after 25 + years in the bike business inhaling all that teflon Triflow lubricant has affected my brain !

Bendix never made a 3 speed kickback hub.
Neither did "Bindex."

Nobody ever made a 3 speed kickback hub. May I ask, how in the hell would you be able to differentiate between upshifting and downshifting when back-pedaling to engage the gear? It's a mechanical impossibility - unless you don't mind upshifting a two times to get to your downshifting.
