Help identify Moser

Hi! I've just received a Moser bike. It looks like the one Francesco Moser had in 1984 when setting his world hour record. Unfortunately it has been repainted and now I'm unable to detach the model. Does anybody of you out there can help me? On the fork you can read "51, 152" that is the world hour record. The bike has only Shimano Dura Ace components, except for the stem that is a Moser and the disc wheels, that are from Ambrosio. I would also like to know how much would it cost. Thanks, L

Bikes: Crap. The box is not big enough...

radio, we'd like to help but you haven't given us much to go in. The Moser time trial bike has a smaller front wheel and a sloping top tube. Is this one like that? It sounds like a top flight bicycle, and the disk wheels are valuable, but without pictures it would be tough to hazard a guess. I watched a Tommasini TT go on eBay a couple of weeks ago, with custom painted disks. If you looked that up in completed sales it would give you a dollar value to bounce around.

Wasn't Moser's record 51.151?

Thanks a lot, luker! I put a few pictures of the bike at www.ciclistica.it . Hope it will be easier for you to guess. And yes, Moser's record was 51,151!

Bikes: Francesco Moser TT, Cinelli Laser, Benotto crono, Takhion,

I am new here and I just found this thread. This bike is a Moser TT bike, probably with Oria tubing that 1986 replaced the earlier Columbus SLX tubing which the bikes of the team Supermercati Brianzoli (Moser team) were made of. The design changed some from 86 and this bike here is made after that.

well, spent half an hour lost in Italy on that web site... and stumbled across the picture... might as well have a look at it, even though the OP is about 2 years old!

take at look at the 'fixie' area on that site.... they're fixie crazy in Italy. https://www.ciclistica.it/archives/cat_ciclofixa.html

Nobody gave a proper answer on the Italian site but only pure speculations about its authenticity, if it's at all a TT frame by Moser.
