Period correct for 1978 P10. Recommendations?

Bikes: '75 Schwinn Paramount P-10, '86 Ritchey Commando, '87 Schwinn Cimarron, '91 Trek 990, '87 Schwinn High Sierra, '73 Schwinn Super Sport, '4? Schwinn New World, '76 Swing Bike.

1978 Specs:

WHEELS AND TIRES:
Standard Equipment --
Campagnolo Record large flange quick release alloy hubs.
Aluminum alloy rims.
.072-.060 ga. butted stainless steel spokes.
Wired on 27" x 1-1/8" Schwinn Super Record tires (90lbs inflation).
Optional equipment at extra cost --
Clement Campionato del Mondo silk sew-up tires.
.092-.080 ga. heavy duty zinc plated spokes.
Puncture resistant tubes for wired on tires.

Thanks for the info Bob. The bike still has the original tires on it with approx 300 miles on them, but they are starting to get cracks in them. I guess what I am looking for is a high quality replacement that looks like the original gumwalls,but not the cheap Taiwan bright yellow gumwall look.

Take a look at panracer pasalea there pretty good from what I have seen.
