Strange Rear Hub

This is that strange Record hub. The axle is titanium and laser marked Campagnolo, and the spline pattern is screwy. It is a 130, with 32 spoke allocations.

I got it in Fairbanks, Alaska, at Beaver Sports. It was in the glass case collecting dust. The guy at the counter said he thought it was a special hub, and warned me accordingly as to getting cogs and the like.

Any ideas as to what it is?

Neat hub, no idea what it is thought. I used to shop at Beaver Sports and at All Weather Sports.
