Peugeot PB-14

Hi Guys,

I just picked up a Peugeot PB-14 for $5.00. Every thing works fine on it. I will have to get the bak wheel spocks redone. It has a sticker on it that says "EX 4130 triple butted Chome Moly Tubes." But other then that I know nothing bout the bike. Do any of you guys know what years Peugeot made these frames and any info would be nice.

that is ishiwata tubing. Don't know to much about it other than it is respectable.

I've got the same bike but a few years older. It seems wherever I look I can't find any information whatsoever on the bike. It's good for me though, light (for a late 80's bike) real snappy handling. It's a good ride overall. Hopefully someone that knows a little more about it will reply. I'm real curious about the bike myself!

Cig Tech-

Your PB 12 looks like one of our Canadian built models. I have a Canadian catalogue from 1989 with the same graphics as your frameset so I assume it is a later 1980s offering. The Ishiwata EX was good quality, rather underrated tubing compared to Tange and the European brands. Once it is all cleaned up and lubed, I think you will find your PB 12 a nice ride.
