Ok I realize I'm cutting my own throat since I am the current high bidder. (perhaps I'm looking for you guys to save me from myself) But doesn't this look like a steal, even with the slight dent. https://cgi.ebay.com/86-Schwinn-Param...QQcmdZViewItem

nice frame but I'm guessing the price is gonna go up in 1 day, 21 hours and 55 minutes.
That would be a fun one to play with you sure aren't gonna get any help here
saving you from yourself, hell we can't even save ourselves.

I don't know if you were watching the auction yesterday for this Paramount

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEDW%3AIT&rd=1

I tried to snipe it and had a max bid well over $100 more than where it sat for many days. Even in the last couple of minutes, I was $50 over and sure I was going to get it. But alas, somebody outsniped me.

So yes, I would expect that it will go up from there.

Bail you out? The price was right, but you gotta be kidding me with that pink metallic.

What is it with the cheezy colors put on high-end machines? Do companies buy out the ugliest (and cheapest) paint on the market to save money, knowing that roadies will buy the bike no matter what the color?

It tempts one to collect low-end machines that have more attractive paint jobs. Arrugh.

Please, don't make me get out pictures of my "lavendar mist" colored Japanese Bianchi to prove that low end bikes can have godawful paint jobs, too. The rest of the forum doesn't deserve to see that.
