Not a garage sale, got two decent bikes at this years county sherifs sale, a Trek for my daughter, and a bianchi for my son. The trek just needed a good cleaning, and tuning. The Banchi was bit bit older, so I replaced the canti brakes with v-brakes, still owe him a fork. the bike where $70 for both, they also had 'Evidence' tags. There was a top of the line Huffy, a real POS, that somebody bought for $100.00.
