Ideale Saddles

Hi folks, does anybody have a strong background w/ Ideale or perhaps know if there is a complete/comprehensive resource for the Ideale timeline?? The Ideale saddle in particular that I'm wondering about is a "Type Record 80". I know that it is at least 25-30 yrs old but, have no idea when they were used on the old Motobecane that I'm trying to restore. Thanks

If you go to the bulgiers site (don't have the url in front of me, but shouldn't be hard to find) he has posted MANY scans of old bicycle catalogs. Look for one of the Ron Kitchening catalogs, he was a major importer of Ideale to the UK for many years and his catalogs will have descriptions in English.

Correction (as usual for me): The bulgiers site was not where I saw the Ron KITCHING catalog with Ideale saddles, it was here:https://www.classicrendezvous.com/Fra...Kitching81.htm at the good ol' CR main site...

Bikes: Seriously downsizing.

Nice page, but no model 42 listed, and I have two of the things.

Top,
I'm not sure if you're still looking for info but I'm researching my #42 along with several other Ideales... I found this to be helpful and if I'm reading it correctly, I have the "# 42 Standard": https://www.ebykr.com/?p=69
