"egg beater" pedals are not old school, perhaps you are referencing "quill" pedals, MKS are still around in various quality levels, they mimic the old standard, Campagnolo. MKS makes both road and track style units. Toe clips and straps needed of course.

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

I have a '73 Fuji, and (horror of horrors) I use clipless pedals. True, they aren't original (and I did keep the original MKS quill pedals), but the threading is compatible.

yeah i worded that damn thing wrong..i meant any good egg beater style pedals that would fit on my fuji. i want to get these new adidas super pro shoes, and give the clips a try. i have the old school cages and leather straps (which are cool too).
