Ross replacement parts

I have a Ross Mt. Jefferson that I recieved as a gift a few years back and part of the front brake assembly has torn causing the front brake to drag heavily. Does anyone know where I can go to get replacement parts for this brand?

It sounds like maybe the brake pad tore, yes? If so, your local bike shop (LBS) will have the parts you need. Suggestion, ask them for Kool Stop Salmon pads. Great stoppers!

Nope. not the pad. It's part of what ever helps adjust the springs so the brake stays centered.

Got a picture? They're worth a thousand words, ya know

I believe if you were to take your bike to the LBS, they'd be plenty able to help you out. As that Ross didn't make the sub-assemblies for the bike but rather bought from jobbers who were contracted to make parts, it's possible that what they have won't visually match, but mechanicaly it should do fine.
