Bikes: 1959 Capo Modell Campagnolo; 1960 Capo Sieger (2); 1962 Carlton Franco Suisse; 1970 Peugeot UO-8; 1982 Bianchi Campione d'Italia; 1988 Schwinn Project KOM-10;

Figuring out the year (and sometmes month or even day) of manufacture is part of the thrill of the chase. Various models, such as the Peugeot PX-10 or the Schwinn Continental, enjoyed long production runs, during which significant evoution occurred. Knowing a rough timeline for components and frame design gives prospective buyers a reference point to aid their shopping.

Because they don't go shopping or tell us to take out the trash. They don't run up the credit cards. They never yell at you for coming home late.

They demand little and give a lot!

That's why.......

While 'date' is a homonym I will answer both questions

a) the reasons rabid koala give above
b) the reasons John E give above above

thats why

Bikes: Still have a few left!

It's a cheap date once you make the initial investment!

I figured he intended "date," as in "take out," so I had to give him a hard time.

More fun with words: a quadruple homophone seen in a college cafeteria --
