Update: "Strange Schwinn Traveler"

I just wanted to give you folks a heads up...

This was the exact condition I found it in at the thrift store and I had not yet cleaned it when I took this photo. The chain issue took less than 5 minutes to resolve.

It is a beautiful autumn day here in CO and I'm just rolling up my sleeves to begin work on this great old bike. Take a good look, I think it is going to turn out very differently and very nice

Great looking Traveler. Any idea on the age of it? I had an 1980 for a while, and believe yours is probably a couple years newer, though not really sure what time frame they were using that paint style. Does look like its in pretty good shape.
