Just thought I'd provide you with an update on my recent garage sale purchase; The Macleans. I have been doing some research, based on certain styling features of the frame, and the Serial #, the frame is almost certainly from around 1934-35. The crank and chainrings may be original as well, but the remainder of the components are probably upgrades added over the years.

I'm going to start this project with efforts to find some period correct components, and we'll see where it ends up! I also have to consider what to do with the frame. Due to the degree to which rust has taken over on the lower half of the bike, I'm leaning towards a repaint. This will partially depend on whether or not I can find appropriate replacement decals.
