Searching for wierd frame...

Hi guys, my first post in this section...

As a young teenager 20 years ago I saw a photograph/poster/advert for a frame in a bike shop that has stuck with me for years.

I think it was one of the first ever magnesium frames. It wasn't tubing but looked like girders with holes in them and the downtube met half way down the seat tube, but as I say, no tubes, just 'girders'. Oh, and it was painted white in the photo's.

In the photo montage they showed it being run over by a truck, and being okay...

Anyone got any idea what kind of frame it was or if anyone has any pics?? I've done internet searches for it a couple of times but with no idea who the company is who made it or any more catchwords I'm pretty well stumped.......

You sir are a bloody legend!! I'm not 100% sure, but I reckon it is. I think my memory of it has deformed somewhat over the 20 years so its not exactly the bike I remember. But I reckon it must be the one. The holes in the top tube seem to ring a bell and the 'Kirk Precision' name also sounds right.

Thanks dude!! You made my week
