Pity you don't have a larger bike for a large problem - Freud's probably enjoying himself:

$500 for an old beat up Fuji converted to fixed gear. I won't start my commentary on how ridiculous it is that FG are so glorified that people ask or pay this.

And how ridiculous it is that it can only be used in a limited area around town. A lap of downtown can be completed in about 15 minutes on a beach cruiser. The rest is long grades and mountaineous. Yep, I've been EVERYWHERE!,,,,BD

Never mind the $500 for a bike with mismatched cranks. I got that for $20 on my first fixed gear.

Hmm, a high ten Raleigh road bike for $150, I'll pass.,,,,BD

https://houston.craigslist.org/bik/413493618.html

And another for $110. I had to drop mine to $30 and still had trouble selling it.

https://houston.craigslist.org/bik/388294470.html

Are Super Records even a desirable model? I didn't see them on Retro Raleighs......

I hope the market stays this way for at least another six months: I'm having fun on the Shogun that I just built (and it looks a h**l of a lot nicer than that Fuji), but figure I'll get bored with it (having to truck it 18 miles to Ashland to ride is a pain) by then I start looking for a serious road frame.

I was thinking a sprint, nm. A WS wasn't a whole lot higher, but at least it's cromoly and alloy rims. I got $140 for a WS, it was a year or so newer, and had a built in RD hanger.,,,,BD

Not sure if this is brilliant or the ultimate "want something for nothing" numbskull of the day. Either way, I'd sure love it if someone paid me to ride my bike.

Gas pipe LeJeune on the bay.

Now you know I am a fan of the marque, but it did not garner a bid at $99 the last time it ran, what makes him think it will this time. Check the description...

"I put 27" inch wheels on the bike and it measured between 23-24" from the ground to the top of the top tube."

Gee, it doesn't look that small.....

MSRP is around $4700 for an entire bike. That should make the frame worth $3000, right??,,,,BD

Definitely bent. Not a question. Wheel to DT clearance is too small for a Technium

Thanks, that's what i thought too.

When questioned the seller replied "What the heck do you mean by that? I was just using it last week. If you don't know about bikes, don't make bad comments."

I sent him the same question - if everyone who reads this asks him the same question we can make him crack!
