Bought it for $200? A quick email found it to be a Spalding they used for three years, and probably 15+ years before he got it by the previous owner. Everywhere I go that has old bikes, has one of these Spalding "blade" road bikes. It must have been a one time experiment, because I've only seen one incarnation. Black with red lettering. At least his price is somewhat reasonable. I never would have paid $200 brand spanking new. If they've had it three years and paid $200, I feel sorry for them.

I tried to find out the year but I ended up giving it up. anyways.. this bike was totally kept in inmmaculate condition.. it shows very very minor paint nicks here and there but they are only minor. overalll I will rate this bike a PERFECT 9 in a scale of 1 to 10.. This is for serious buyers only... call me at 760 402 4606 and ask for jay.. the price is 500 dollars.. huret front derrauller , alivit rear derrauler, original brake system and most parts are genuine except the seat.
Nice looking bike, but more like $200 nice than $500 nice, IMHO. Would a "serious buyer" be someone with enough self control to not laugh out loud in front of the seller?
