Fugly might be an understatement... more like, triple-fugly.

Summary of ugliness:
Purple/flat green paint clash.
Carbon wheel on front
Huge downtubes, only works with certain bikes.
White seat doesn't work.
Yellow tires don't work.

Uh, that name on the rear stay . . . . . unless my eyes are fooling me, isn't it saying Masi?

If it is, I love the bike and feel it needs to be dragged to a few classic bike shows.

It says MASH, as in M.A.S.H. the movie/tv show.

No, it says "MASH" and is in desperate need of being operated on by Alan Alda.

Give this buckethead credit for gall, anyway. A mutilated Sprite for $325!? They aren't worth that much in concours condition. And apparently 'mustache' is 'North Road' spelled upside down. He got swindled on eBay and passes the screwing on to YOU!

Vintage Raleigh Sprite road bike converted to fixed gear. 57cm, horizontal dropout frame. NEW Suzue hubs, new chain and clean chainring. Steel "Mustache" handlebars. Hubs alone worth over $100. Rides really clean.

I hate to sell this bike but it's just too big for me. Bought it on Ebay sight unseen and it was misrepresented. That's what I get I guess.

You gotta wonder what he thought he was getting "sight unseen," a Raleigh Pro perhaps? Double numbskull!

Interesting theory, but I don't think you're accounting for how the bike got from Albuquerque to San Francisco.

The seller was in Colorado, and the buyer was in Albuquerque. You can tell this by seeing where the buyer (who also has sold a number of items) lists their goods.

Nope, it says M*A*S*H, as in the San Francisco fixed gear group/movie. www.mashsf.com for details.
