Need: A left-hand match or near match for a Shimano Exage Mountain crank. Markings are FC-M450, and it's a 175mm, square-taper design. However, a Shimano 105 in 175mm length looks pretty much the same--a fairly beefy hunk of aluminum.

Have: Lots of Sturmey Archer parts (cogs, triggers, etc.), various chain rings (particularly the 52t variety), some mid-range hubs. Let me know what you're looking for.

Neal;
I have a complete Exage Mountian 175 crank set. I do have a FC 450) crank arm, but it's 170.
Looking for Biopace chainrings (50/110 and 40/110) and an Exage LX 500 RD.

In addition to the bikes above (still available) I have a variety of vintage entry level parts (derailleurs, brakes etc).

The thing I want that I am adding to my list above... I would like to convert an old Sugino crank to a compact double. Does anyone have one or both of a 50/34 chainring set 110 mm BCD? In exchange I would obviously also be able to give up the steel (52/39 I think) on the crank now... or perhaps any other small part wrapped in green paper.

Speaking of chain rings, did you get the ones I sent yet?

Vitus 979 frame 50cm / partial Shimano 600 group

I have a Vitus 979 frame that is a bit too small for me..

Seat tube: Center of bottom bracket to top of top tube: 47.5 cm
Top tube: Center to Center: 51cm
Rear spacing: 126mm
Standover about 29"

Additional reference links on the 979's:

Pictures of the Vitus for sale in ths auction built up with old school campy parts:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/ssemone...7594303947919/

Vitus parts and repairs:
https://mypage.uniserve.com/~peterguy/vitusmain.htm

I've also got a very partial and a bit worn, but serviceable! Shimano 600 group:
Front Der
Rear Der
One Brake (how did that happen?)
Two brake levers
Bottom bracket - new bearing and fresh grease
Crank set (165mm)

I would like:

A frame / frameset of similar mid-80's vintage with a bit more relaxed geometry (i.e. touring-esque wheelbase) but still with a 29" standover. Something with ~ 53cm top-tube length and 126mm rear spacing.

testing the waters for interest:
anybody looking for a Shimano 600 ARABESQUE "gruppo"?
This group has a TRIPLE crankset with a buggered-up LH crankarm(a shame) and the "one-key" releases. 52/45/39 and tooth wear on all the rings. Stock BB in good shape, fit a replacement LH arm and she's good.
Brakes: sidepull calipers/levers, but no hoods; original (dried out) pads with tireguides.
RD, clamp-on FD and clamp-on friction levers, all good shape but for minor scratching.
Hope to send it to its new home COMPLETE.
Have a wierd shopping list of stuff I'd like in trade...PM me if interested

Time Pedals and Parts

I have a box full of Time pedals. First generation. Equipe, Sport and Criterium, at least one pair of each. Also a mess of spare parts like cleats, springs, screws, etc.

I could use a 135 chainring, 1/8 preferred, but 3/32 okay. Any size other than 39, 53, or 45.

Failing that, the pedal stuff is free to anyone who wants to cover shipping.

>These are taken, thanks.<

Holy moly, I think I have a pair of those. They have the Campy wing logo and a little window on the front of the lever with an adjusting screw. Those the ones? The hoods dirty (white color) but in really good shape and you can see some rust on the screw.

Want: 135 BCD track or road rings, 46-50.
Always need new tubes for 700x25, Presta
Front track hub, sealed bearing

Looking for a couple older saddles in good condition. Picked up a couple bikes today and about the only thing they really need is new saddle. Got a 5sp freewheel and a few other things around worthy of trading. See the buy/sell/trade link for more stuff I've got and looking for.

Time to start cleaning out my shed. I have two frames that are much too small for me (~53cm c-c). Looking for a frame of similar quality for each around 58cm c-t. Would prefer local in-person deal (Boston area). Some parts included (shifters, cranks, etc.) - negotiable.

Trek (~53cm c-c)
Ishiwata 022 double butted three main tubes.
Note: Fork is bent. Scratched paint.
[Pic1], [Pic2].

Peugeot (~53cm c-c)
Vitus double butted frame.
Note: Right fork dropout slightly bent (see pic). Decent paint.
[Pic1], [Pic2], [Pic3]

Both frames are in decent condition (minus fork issues) with the Peugeot being the better of the two. No rust. Just looking for a winter project that actually fits me!

OK, it's new project time for me.

I am looking for:
-Italian 56ish cm road frame, in ride-able (but not necessarily beautiful) condition
-Campy/Gippiemme/Ofmega road cranks (don't really care what gruppo)

I am looking to get rid of:
-1972 Schwinn Super Sport frameset (Opaque Green), 24" size
-Ultegra level 8 spd. bar-end shifters, NIB (includes cable housing)
-Phil Wood 36H front hub laced, tied, and soldered to 27" French rim. The hub has seen better days, but a little steel wool, elbow grease, and a bearing replacement would get you a very nice hub.
-Misc. 27" wheels (front and rear)

Time for a new project! (edited)

Stuff I Want
-Alloy riser bar. Maybe? Possibly? Doesn't have to be pretty.
-Steel toe clips, L or XL.

Stuff I Have
-Shimano UN-53 cartridge BB, 63x118mm, 200 miles on it (almost new) GONE!
-27" 3-speed rear wheel - alloy rim, Sears hub (a good-quality Sturmey-Archer AW knock-off, at least as good as the original). Includes choice of 1/8" 16-tooth sprocket, or 3/32" 22-tooth sprocket.
Each sprocket above available separately. Gone! (16 tooth sprocket still available)
-SR "custom" forged alloy road stem, 25.4mm clamp, 65mm reach. It's definitely used. But hey, it's a good stem (very basic, yes, but good).
-50 tooth Sugino chainring, 110mm BCD, very little wear
-14 tooth Shimano BMX cog (splined) - this is new, never used

Don't see something you want, but have something I want? PM me anyway and we can try and figure this out. Thanks!
