1950's 1960's caliper brake recommendations
Anyone have a good recommendation for a set of calipers circa late fifties to sixties (early 70's okay as well).
I was considering a set of universals, I keep seeing NOS sets on ebay from the 60's for okay prices.

I'm going with the Universals on my '47 because Campy didn't have brakes in '47.

GB would be a good choise too.If you use english hubs cranks and pedals I'D go GB.If you use Italian I'd go Universal.

I'm trying to stay away from centerpulls. Not because I don't like them. I actually have a set on an old touring bike that work better than a lot of modern sidepulls. But I want to go for a cleaner look.

Weinmann 500 sidepulls were popular in England, if the short reach fits your usage.
