Bianchi Strada LX

After falling in love with my 84 Cilo (pics coming soon), I choose to do not convert it (yet) to fixed.
I found out locally a Bianchi Strada LX that seems like a 1990 area (from poor picture). It has 12 speed and Suntour derailleur (so I assume 90 and prior).

I'm mainly looking for a high quality speed frame for a fixie... Do anyone know anything about those frames. It seems like the modern starda is a road touring low end bike.

I think that yeah, it is just a regular ol' chromoly frame. Nothing wrong with it but you want a "high quality speed frame" so you could do worse but I don't think this is what most people would call a high quality speed frame.

Why does it have to be that way for a fixed ride anyways? This bike might be good for a conversion, provided it fits you.

If you are going to spend the money on a nice frame why not get a track frame? I know right now with the "craze" track frames go for a lot on ebay but I mean if we are talking really high end vintage road bikes the price margin can be negligable. Also I would like to know more about your Cilo... I am unfamiliar with the marquee.... I thought I had a pantographed super record chainring but just checked and it's CELO not cilo.

I dont care for super high end, just looking for something in the superior range. Dont feel like buying a poor quality frame, repainting , etc...

Cilo was a Swiss manufacturer, pics to come.
