But before I ever had an expert critique my unschooled resorations, I got nice miniature screws and tapped the HT holes with a matching tap and screwed them in place with a little Loctite on the threads...and it was just fine by me.

I posted that link as an example of what a "drive screw" looks like. It *might* be the right size for the holes in your particular headbadge and headtube, but might NOT, so measure to be sure...heck, measure twice!

i reposted this, because nobody seemed to be responnding to the other...
the hole is hard to measure...the drive screws measure at .116" and that's TINY (and the schwinn screws are slightly smaller at about .098")
