I got a Vista just like that (except for the bar tape color) for my wife about a year and a half ago from the LBS - paid $45.00 - which I felt was close to, but not quite overpaying. You probably could have gotten more for it, but you turned a reasonable profit on it, so it's good right?

If you did absolutely nothing to it, sounds like you made a decent profit. There's one on the local CL here for $10. BTW, I don't think that's technically a mixte. A mixte usually has two thin downtubes that run from the headtube to rear dropouts, passing on either side of the seattube.

2) A couple of years back, I was setting up the security dept for a local hospitial. A GI flu was going around the Emergency dept, and hit me like the wrath of God Christmas day after dinner with the wife's family. I thought my mother-in-law had poisoned me......

Around here male bikes go for more $. It'd probably go for $50 if ridable as-is. I'd take off the silly vintage speedometer.

Well, look at it this way--you got to stay home and fix bikes! And then sell them for a profit. It's almost like having your own little bike shop.

Hope your flu doesn't last too long, just long enough to fix a few more bikes .
