PX 10 Stem & Pedal question

Sorry these may be stupid questions but I'm still learning!!
1.I am picking up a PX 10 frame and fork. Will the fork steerer accept a standard quill stem or do I need something specific to this bike. The frame will be on the bottom end of sizing for me so I need a longer stem
2. The seller is including a BB and Stronglite cranks, will these cranks accept normal pedal threads?

Thanks in advance!!!!
Thom

You will probably need a 22.0mm stem vs the more common 22.2mm. But if you cannot find a 22.0, you can take some sandpaper and work down a larger stem. We are only talking 0.1 mm to come off. As for the cranks, it will depend. A lot of Stronglights were French thread (14 x 125). These can easily be retapped for the more standard 9/16 x 20. You may find that the threads are already retapped as I have on several occasions.
