Frame ID help

Hi, I posted pics of my bike in framebuilders in an attempt to ID it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I believe you have a early 70s late 60 Schwinn Continental converted to a SS. The is the stem that was used on the bike. It is not a fillet brazed bike but a electro forged steel frame. Schwinn built millions of them. Roger

Most likely a Schwinn Continental. Are the fork blades flat and what size is the seat post?

Yeah, the fork blades are flat, not sure what size the seat post is though. The saddle clamp system is pretty shot so I've been taking around to LBS's to see if I can get it replaced, but nobody has anything in that narrow a diameter. A guy in the framebuilders section was pretty positive it's an electroforged Schwinn, most likely a Continental. Thanks all.

If it has flat blades then its a Varsity. Continentals had tubing forks. I suspect its a Franken bike because the stem I think is Continental. What ever its an electro forged Schwinn. Roger
