Iso/wtb

I've been thinking of this one for a while now,
we had one before but it had to come down. I'm thinking we
can handle this one without need for moderation.
So here are the rules.
Post what you are looking for, what you need what
you've been hopelessly watching ebay for.
There are to be no responses in the thread, all transactions should be
done via email or PM. This means you need to turn on private messages and or
email if you actually want to be contacted about something you're looking for.
I would also ask that we all clean up our own posts if you find what you're
after (i.e. delete your post).

thanks,
Marty

I'm looking for a 80's 6-speed Shimano 600 freewheel. Item number MF-6160 or MF-6161.

Mariner Fan 02-04-07 09:34 AM

I'm looking for a steel frameset size 62 cm. I'd prefer that this was designed for 700c wheels. I'm going to take the parts off of my Trek for this. The other criteria that I'm looking for in this frame is a relaxed seat tube angle. Anything around 72 degrees would be fine. A Bianchi would fit the bill in 63 cm. Other bikes that would work are a Bridgestone RB-T or any Rivendell, Waterford etc.

I have an obscure need/want

1 Attachment(s)
My TTT (3T) stem circa 1988 used to have a black plastic plug that covered the allen bolt hole. See photo attached. Or---any ideas for a substitute?

Thanks.

55/Rad 02-04-07 09:38 AM

I'm looking for a set of Mavic Open Pros laced to Utegra hubs. Can't seem to find them anywhere. ;)

Actually, I'd like a top condition Tommasini SL Comp frameset in the quattro colori paint scheme. 58-60.

Campy Record hub parts wanted

Hello,

Looking for some Campy Record Track hub parts to rebuild my hubs...axles, cones, bearing, dust caps, axle nuts. 110 and 120mm axles

Thank you for your help!

In no case do I need museum quality... as long as chrome isn't flaking etc, I am fine. I have seen a few items that would work for me, but never in a price range where I would buy.

A headlight appropriate for a 1955 Schwinn Corvette.

2X7 brifters to work with my full Shimano 600 Ironman Master... preferably with white hoods if they ever existed, but I'm flexible. I don't really feel like paying the price for new Sora brifters... especialy since they only seem to come in black. :)

coelcanth 02-04-07 01:46 PM

universal mod. 61 type hoods
magistroni or other 3-pin (101mm bcd?) chainrings.. any sizes considered
rear der. mount bolt for campy record 80s-90s ?

Mhendricks 02-04-07 11:20 PM

I'm looking for:

Sugino "Super Mighty" Crankset with drilled rings 170/175mm

Shimano 600EX Brakes

SR Royal Handlebars 44/46 cm

el twe 02-06-07 02:08 PM

I'm still looking for:
Campagnolo (or similar) headset, either English or Italian threaded
Campagnolo (or similar) seatpost, 27.2, the longer the better

PM me.

DiegoFrogs 02-06-07 08:25 PM

I've been scouting for a 58-60 cm center to top Raleigh International or something of the ilk. Need not be English in origin, or have chromed stays and forks, but I'm looking for unnecessarily ornate and relatively relaxed angles.

The devil is in the details!

22 inch 60-70's Schwinn Super Sport or Sport Tourer in campus green or opaque green.

Sprint75 02-07-07 01:46 AM

1975 Schwinn Sprint, Chestnut color, 22 inch frame with curved seat mast . Stolen in 1978 and been looking for another ever since.

Grand Bois 02-07-07 09:55 AM

I need hoods to fit first generation Dura Ace brake levers. They don't have to be the correct hoods, just so they fit and they say Shimano.

joychri 02-07-07 11:30 AM

1976 22.5 Raleigh Gran Sport Frame.

70's - early 80's European / Italian steel frame & fork or full bike. 56-57cm ctc. Open to different brands, but interested in something unique and/or rare in the US.

-- edit for the two gentlemen below --

To Lotek: yeah, those brands would certainly fit the bill. Though I wouldn't pass up an old Pinarello or Colnago either!

To Cyclotoine: American builders are welcome as well, however they often go for more $$$ than I have to pay out on this little project. ;)

Zieleman, RIH, Jan de Reus (hmm sounds familiar), Jabo, Joco, Jonkers are all unusual!

North american builders can still be rare, how about a Corky Gulbransen or Marinoni? Marinoni is probably more rare down south than it is up hear, but Corky's must be damn rare... ALthough Cycleart has restored at least one that isn't mine.

Christof H 02-07-07 04:49 PM

Bronze green Raleigh superbe or sports in whatever is closest to 21 inches ctc. (my damaged one measures 21 center to top.) Frame only is fine, I have wheels, fenders, even have forks. Whole Bike is fine, too.

I would also lvoe to find a pair of dynohubs, eventually.

Let's see....yours...and the one CyclArt redid...that's two! ...on the planet!

I'd say that's rarer than a Confente! ;)

If you can't find the Tange, you might try this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...9217&rd=1&rd=1

I am looking for a pair (or two!) of those little rubber thingies for the campy head on my silca impero... You know the ones! :D

And a nice nitto/shimano/sr quill stem for 26.0 bars in the 100-120mm range.

e: To USAZorro —Awesome, thanks! Will do!

Go to Lowe's or Home Depot, and go to their hardware aisle. They have little plastic bags with different colors (for different sizes) of caps. I have a Japanese version of the silca on one of my bikes, and the red caps fit it perfectly. This costs a lot less than getting "the real thing". :D
