Classic & Vintage Jerseys - Logistics

I have been communicating with Chad. His website can handle a group buy, at some point in ordering you will put Classic & Vintage in the "Add Your Name" page along with your logo color choice.

There are 2 surcharges that won't be apart of the online ordering system. The first is an additional $3.00 surcharge for drop shipping the jerseys to individuals. I think this is reasonable because of the savings we get when we buy bulk and Chad is not bulk shipping as he normally would. This will bring the total shipping charge to $9 for the US and Canada and about $19 for international (sorry Sammyboy).

The second surcharge is a one-time set-up fee of $75 for the custom embroidery. I would like to split this fee evenly for each ordered jersey. What this will be is obviously dependent on the total number of jerseys ordered but it would be nice to get it down to $2 a jersey.

So your total cost will be jersey cost + $13 embroidery w/outline charge + $9 shipping charge + $2(?) set-up charge.

Also, some sizes and colors are selling out, we need to to determine how many jerseys will be ordered quick. I would like to keep a running tally here so PM me or post your quantity here. I will update the tally and I will start.

Bikes: '66 Raleigh Carlton, '70 Ron Cooper, '95 Bianchi CD'I, "Bottecchia" Zonal Frame with Xenon gruppo, "Bottecchia"Carbon Frame with Record Gruppo, Columbia Twosome, Terry Classic, Bianchi SX, Gravity SS/FG, Titanium "Motobecane" with Ultegra DI2

A suggestion:

You need to include on this page: a link to Chad's web site, a summary of the jersey choices, and the "jersey cost."
You've been doing a great job of pulling this together, but I'm easily confused (hit my head in a bike accident) and you've got a sticky thread up there labeled "final." Information is spread across multiple threads and you're gooing to have trouble eliciting interest from people who haven't been attending from the start. Just my perception, I'd hate to see your work so far lost to entropy. The jerseys are nice, I don't really NEED one, but....

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.

Yes, a summary of the jersey choices would be nice. I'd like to get two, and perhaps get one or two for people who may not be in any position to be able to afford their own.

So, at least three for me.

Good input. I will start a final thread called Vintage Jerseys - Order Here!

I will also ask the mods to sticky that thread and delete the others. Are you listening?

I'm listening, but I'm not a moderator. Sounds like a plan to me. Now, if I can find where the dear wife hid my credit card...

I guess we're talking $75 or less total to the US, depending on quantity sold and style selected? I'm in for one. Perhaps "to make things simpler" iab should just set $3.00 each for the set-up fee and put any extra toward his own jersey? Cancel if you don't get 25 ordered? Just a thought...
