It is an ex Panasonic pro team bike. The PR-6000 was also available to the public for 7000 (Dutch) guilders, but this one is ex team. I do know two made it to the US: bikeforums-member and 'Panasonic virtual bicycle museum' owner Zeringer/Darin and member buldogge/Mark have one.

Japanese for sure but designed in America and modified in America . Started out as a Centurion Comp T/A . Now it's a track bike . NJS forks , bars and stem all steel .

Mid to Late Seventies Kabuki Diamond formula
I bought this bike New after a few years on a Schwinn Varsity. It felt like a rocket ! I still ride it regularly even though it is not as solid as my Reynolds or Columbus tube bikes. I guess I am just sentimental. I put mostly Campy stuff on and tucked the Suntour stuff in a box. Joe

thanks! bought frame & fork from Chrome Molly earlier this year, and decided i wanted it to be decked out in "jewelry". she's a fantastic ride, and if i ever do a L'Eroica ride will be my first choice.

- 1985-ish Miyata 610 in decent original shape, but changing wheels from 27" to 700c, and putting it back into shape from a poor straight bar conversion. Thinking of doing a "retro custom" rebuild
- Early to mid 1980's Norco Monterey SL in good original shape (Ishiwata butted tubing, Suntour Blaze group, Araya rims), designed in Canada, made in Japan
- Late 80's to early 90's Kuwahara Cascade (Tange Infinity, Deore DX group, Mix of Richey: Vantage Sport rims, stem, etc). Here I am assuming Japanese manufactured. By far the most comfy of all my bikes, purchased at a pawn shop. A little rough cosmetically, but a good functionig bike.
- 1994 Bridgestone MB-4 (gave to my daughter: Ishiwata triple butted tubing; Diacomp 985 cantis, SS-4 levers; Richey: Vantage Expert rims,stem; Shimano: DX thumbies; LX deraileurs, etc). Metallic dark green. All thanks to Grant Pedersen's creative spec'ing. A beautiful bike I bought new that was/is too small...and a fine lugged steel Japanese frame.
- mid 1970's (?) Shields-Nishiki Sport by Kawamura. Never a great bike, but an example of a well made inexpensive bikes
