Vintage AMF Roadmaster
Thank you in advance for any help trying to identify my 1953 or 1954 AMF Roadmaster bicycle. My parents have kept for me all these years. So now I want to go about restoring & identifying it. I don't know where to start. Where do I look for ID #'s etc? Again, thanks.

star by posting photos(sorry east hill beat you to it) and a list of parts. Numbers could be any whare on the frame, the next poster might know but I dont. It wouldent have jet planes on the chain guard by any chance? I think there nice old bikes.

yes, pics are VERY helpful. Not all the bike manufacturers have extensive serial # databases (?).

Thank you for your help. I found on the frame the following information, B48753 53C. There is a sticker with Masterweld Cleveland Welding Co. on it. Does this help define the year it was manufactured?
