BTW, can't wait to be riding again. I broke a toe on Monday morning and doctor instructed me not to ride, so I foolishly rode less than two blocks last night. Pain wasn't too bad until about two hours later as my throbbing foot swelled even more. Yeah, that was very stupid of me.
I used to ride Arbor Hills fairly regularly when I first started riding again and I had a mtb and lived over on that side of town. Nice looking raleigh.

Sounds like C&V has sizable Dallas area posse. Maybe it's all the bike bling obsessed people living in our area that rid themselves of that old bike at a fire sale price.

I am moving to the east Dallas area from Fort Worth in less than 2 weeks. We should have a vintage rode ride.

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

Nice bikes - but refresh my memory - what's with the freewheels with more than 18 teeth? I've spent 14 weeks in Plano, and I can safely say y'all are rather light on hills and trees.

Absolutely. David Cheakas was planning on putting together a vintage ride some time soon, but seems he's always got his hands full with work. As soon as I'm back on the road after all my surgery (see 'off the bike' in sig) I'll be up for a nice paced ride with the vintage bike crowd.
