Help me identify this Fuji hybrid
I bought this today for a female coworker. It's a Fuji Palisade hybrid but it doesn't match the equipment listed for the 1999 - 2003 series. This one has nice trap pedals, 700 wheels, linear pull brakes, and 7 speed rapid fire integrated shifters/brake levers. The steel frame is 4130 cromoly. The paint is in good shape with the usual dings and scratches - that is not oxidized. Nice lugs. Shimano group - GS 2000? Biospace chainrings. My gut says as old as 1989.
The newer series has 26" wheels, tig welding, and some aluminum frames.
BTW the handlebar is decorated with an old-sytle Kryptonite lock w/o key. I hope my bick works

Lanky Lass
It's a bit recent for us C & V folks, but can anyone give robtown a hand with identifying this bike?

Rob, those are cantilever brakes. (Photo 1)
It could be as old as you believe, cantis were being phased out in the early/mid 90's. Check the back of the crank arm for a date code, this should put you in the ballpark unless they've been changed.
This page is helpful if you have the Shimano number.

I have a 1990 Specialized HardRock that was originally equiped with the GS200 groupset. The 89 HR had SunTour components so the year must be correct or just off line by one year. The Acera rear derailleur is of a later vintage.
