Shimano cog codes

Working on the resurrected Centurion Elite RS, and have the wheels: 8 speed Dura-Ace hubs with tubular Campy rims. Trying to set up a wide range 9-speed cassette, and I have a pile of individual cogs from 11T through 28t and 30t. I'm having a hard time telling which are 7, 8, 9, or 10 speed cogs without a caliper. Does anyone know of a key to the stamped codes on the cogs?
