Peugeot Database?
Forgive me, this may be an ignorant question, but does anybody know if there exists a good place to look up old Peugeot bicycle model numbers/parts/pics, etc. I've found a couple old Peugeots recently, and wan't to know if they're worth keeping to fix up and ride or sell.

Jim,
Guessing is just naturally a large percentage of dealing with Peugeots.

Peugeot France never stopped making bicycles. They stopped exporting them to the U.S. Before Peugeot established themselves in the U.S. independent distributors imported and marketed them. You dont see U.S. specific catalogs for that reason. I believe 1989 was the last year Peugeot France exorted to the U.S. There was a time when a Canadian company, Procycle, manufactured Peugeots under licensce from Peugeot France. These Procycle Peugeots were found in U.S. catalogs along side French made Peugeots. From 1990 all U.S. Peugeots were made in France.
