Schwinn 564 fork rake and length
Hi everyone. This is my first post. Been around here for a while, just never really get around to posting. I usually just get by with just the search function. But i just cant seem to find any info on the schwinn 564's fork rake. I've been considering replacing the original fork with a carbon one. I heard it does wonders on the 564's stiff ride quality. But i dont want to mess with the trail nor the bike's geometry. so i want to get a fork that will match it fully. I like how stable this bike is on descents so i really dont want to screw anything up by buying a fork with a different fork length and rake. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The Schwinn catalog specifications don't provide the fork rake for the Aluminum 564. All it says is "Tange Mangalloy, Semi-sloping crown, forged dropouts."
The best way to determine the fork rake is to measure it. Tape a straight edge down the head tube and fork on the head tube centerline, and measure the perpendicular distance from the straight edge to the center of the dropout.
