Info for a Lotus.
Hello everyone,
https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/bik/339902700.html
Found this number on CL and tried to search for info. on bikeforums but without knowing exactly what kind of Lotus it is it was a weak endeavor. I've already emailed the guy about more specifics but while I wait for a reply I thought you gents might be some help. Is it worth the $25? Should I grab it while it's still available?
Thanks,
Brett

Oops, jst got info. from the seller:
"hi Brett,
It's a Chromaly frame (I am not sure if I spelled that right!). It's an Elite model. This belonged to my husband's uncle first, and then to my husband (so it's been in the same family but 2 riders). It's 15 years old but he has not ridden it for the last 8 years at all. My husband is 5 10. The frame is straight and not rusted. The wheels are straight and true. If you are still interested- we can measure the standup height. Also- the tires have Presta valves. It has Shimano components.
Thanks for your interest!

Thanks, it's tempting to get it than turn around and sell it real quick on eBay. But I have this issue of falling in love with bikes and not wanting to part with them. Btw, Shimano 600 components and 105 brakes. Unfortunately I have to work all night but hopefully it's still there tomorrow...

Its not...
I must have contacted the buyer near the same time as you. I bought it today and came home to trusty bikeforums for some research on the elite only to ironically find your post.
Anyway, sorry I beat you to it! It is a nice steed. I promise I will not be buying any other vintage bikes in the burgh (so says the boss lady)- this summer at least.
