Peugeot Carbon Frame?

I didn't know that Peugeot made carbon frames. Unless I'm completely wrong and this is just painted on...

What???

Yeah, I really like it!
I'd just be really really hesitant about buying a used carbon frame. I think it will be a few years before I start liking carbon enough to buy a carbon frame, bars, etc.

The seller has some really nice parts though, and some of them seem reasonably priced. Hopefully shipping to the US isn't an arm and a leg!

Thanks!
That's interesting, to say the least. I don't know how much I'd trust an 80's carbon bike haha.

I'm not an expert on carbon either. They say it melts away under the sun but that are probably the exceptional horror stories

BTW, 'your' frame seems to be some newer than the ones in the catalog

Yeah, it seemed newer to me too.
I'm pretty Peugeot'ed up at the moment. I have a PH501 in the works, which is going to see some work put into it. Who knows what I'm going to look for when I build (or buy) myself a bike prior to jr year summer!

I'd love to have one of those framesets just to hang on the wall. No way I'd put my life in the hands of 20+ year old French CF though. I have four steel Peugeots to risk my life on.
