Huffy Concours Professional
I've had this bike for over 20 years. I thought about selling it at our garage sale but don't know what it's worth. I did a google search and found one for sale on the internet for 200 dollars and it's not nearly as nice of condition as mine. Is there something special about this bike?

I have one that I bought last November that I am in the process of fixing up. I snagged a pair of alloy wheels from a junker Fuji, bought a set of alloy handle bars with brake levers/hoods and a set of Suntour barcons pre-attached. The fork was bent and it has been replaced with a nice used chro-moly unit from the bike coop.
It road pretty well with the steel wheels and I am looking forward giving it a spin with the upgrades. The plan is to make it my daily commuter/campus bike. As much as I like the bike, I don't thnk it would sell for $200.00 with the upgrades, let alone with the stock setup.

It is certainly a cut above the Huffy boat anchors with which I am familiar!

Definately not actually made by "Huffy". They never made quality bike themselves. They only made cheap department store boat anchors. I remember Bicycling! magazine had a little blurb about this model way back when, but look as I might, I never saw one in the "flesh". I imagine this "Huffy" was probably from Taiwan, since I am sure they would have been too cheap to pay the extra $20 to have the bike made in Japan.
This model probably is a reasoable bicycle. $200? I doubt it would sell for $200, but you never know, no doubt it is quite rare, especially in an adult size like this unit.
