Mixte Down!!!!!!!
I knew the title would get your attention. Here's my problem. A neighbor of mine knows that I repair and sell bikes so he brought his daughter's mixte to me for repair. First of all this 1983 Miyata Mixte (1024 material) is absolutely beautiful. Not a scratch on it, paint is a desert Rose/Pink color, with decent ARx components. Now the big problem. He acccidently hit it while parking in the garage and has bent the fork bad enough that I know it shouldn't be ridden. No bulges in the head tube or down tubes so I know that's ok. He wants to get it fixed but I don't have a clue where to get a replacement fork. So if anyone has a rose, pink, or chrome colored fork laying around (oh sure) that I could use as a replacement, let me know.
Thanks People.

That info might have helped huh!
I have it written down at home. I'll post it tonight. Thanks for replying.

I'm so sorry.
I'll say a prayer for her....
(so will East Hill no doubt)

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.
I've got a pink fork on a pink bike, and a dusty rose fork on a dusty rose bike--but they are currently in use...sorry.
If alicestrong and I both think healing thoughts, that should do the trick though.

Never thought about that. I'll go see them today. Thanks Neal.
