Cr1010?
I'm trying to build up a beater, just for the sake of building up a beater
and I found this here auction:
here.
The frame is listed as being made with Cr1010 tubing? Does anyone know anything about this? Is it 3000 pounds? Will it break in a hailstorm? Thanks much.

1010 is basic carbon steel, period. If it were a chromium alloy, it wouldn't be 1010. It's more than likely straight gauge, which means it will be heavy (frame and fork in the nine to ten pound range).
No, it won't break in a hailstorm.
