suntour superbe pro component set
I recently pickedup a fuso 87 off ebay. It came with an almost complete suntour superbe pro component set (all major parts, crankset, brakes, derailleurs, and more) but I'm looking to upgrade to some newer ultegra components so I was just looking to guage interest in the parts, I will try to upload pics tonight.

Sell the groupo complete on ebay including bottom bracket/headset if it as all super b stuff. You will get the most selling as a complete group. It looks you have a turn key bike that is ready to ride. I doubt Ultegra would be worth the cost of upgrade as of now. Wear out the old groupo and find out what all the fuss is about.
I'm willing to bet you are going to have great reliable shifting with the current components.

Just a reminder that we do not "sell" on this forum.
Any sales stuff should be PMs or posted in the For Sale thread in
Marketplace.

Sorry Marty, I didn't mean for my post to come off as an ad but rather I'm just trying to find some direction going forward w/my new bike. I actually initially posed the question in the Mechanic section to see what my options were in terms of simply adding indexed shifters but they said I was probably better off replacing the entire group and directed me to C&V. The thing is, the bike rides extremely well with the current group (I've been riding it everyday for the past couple of weeks, no problems yet), shifts just fine, I was just riding a cannondale w/ultegra before so I guess I got a little spoiled.
Anyway, based on the feedback here it looks like my best bet, at least for now, is to keep it as is. I was initially expecting just a minor upgrade but to switch the entire set wouldnt really be financially feasible and too much of a hassle right now. I also wasn't really considering the classiness of a period correct gruppo and plus, I'd rather maximize my riding for the time being since summer's almost over. If I do decide to sell, I'll make sure to make a post in Marketplace.
Thanks for all the helpful feedback guys

sfnuop,
no problem. Every once in a while I need to post this kind of reminder.
And, I'm not saying you posted this as a fishing expedition for a sale,
but often these types of threads devolve into that.
btw, I'm building up a bike with 1st gen Cyclone and superbe, wonderful stuff atmo.
