Gnutti hub cones

Pulled apart the hubs on an old ATALA and would love to replace the pitted cones. As far as I can tell (actually I'm fairly certain), the manufacture is Gnutti, branded ATALA. They're steel spindles with pressed-on aluminum flanges.

Anybody know if older Campy cones will work? Axle is Italian threaded.
