I have found myself being a lot more selective lately. I will sometimes pass on a bike if it has warped rims. (I just received a TS-2 as a gift a month or so ago) I will usually let a bike sit if it doesn't have..... 1.Alloy rims. 2.Down tube shifters. 3.At least double butted CrMo. The last few weeks I keep running into good deals though, so the stable is growing by about a bike a week, lol. The last three weeks I've acquired a PGN 501 Peugeot, a quad butted Club Fuji, and a Tempo frame/wheels and a box of 105 stuff that is now on the PGN. I passed on a Yokota touring bike this morning. It was wrecked so badly the head tube had partially collapsed. The fork legs had been CUT OFF at the crown and brazed back on straight. Scary. Deore components, but not worth the $50 to me.,,,,BD
What size Super Course are you looking for Sorefeet? I passed on a basket case 55/56 this weekend. The decals were all but gone, but you could just make out the 555sl sticker.
