Bikes: Crap. The box is not big enough...

cook bros cranks sell for more than $200 regularly...I'd suppose your wife may be onto something.

Actually, I think she is implying that I SELL the hubs!

Apparently they don't make HUBS anymore. I'm pretty sure I can use the matching blue pair for the Mountie*. So maybe I will eBay the odd red rear, just to "test the waters".



*or would that be blasphemous? (The Mountie IS ALL stock.)

The original "Cook Brothers" (Gary and ???)sold the business back in the late 80's or early 90's. The brothers went on to start up Cook's Quality Components a few years later but was forced to shut down due to a no compete clause in the sale of the original company. The current Cook Brothers owner has offended quite a few people I have talked to. They were just asking questions so I'm not sure what his problem is. That's all I know.
