Hello
I am new to Bike Forums and am wondering if any of you can tell me which model Schwinn Paramount I have sitting in my garage? Here is a picture.
Thanks

1989 Paramount, 560=56 cm frame (center to top), C=medium length fork steerer tube (appropriate for a 56 cm frame), unsure about the "M", but it may mean OS tubing, "W" means it was built at the Waterford Wisconsin Paramount facility, "H"=August, "89"=1989, "087"=87th Paramount frame built by Waterford during the month of August, 1989.

Same year as mine, I think the "M" is for OS. Did you just get it?

Thanks for the help guys. Not sure what to ask yet but since you helped you get first shot as it is going into the classified section. Selling it as is with computer and shoes and even the pump if someone wants it. Again thanks and hopefully it finds a good home on here.

I have had it for about eight years and just dont ride it anymore. It has a thick layer of dust on it and deserves better. When I did ride it I loved it. Very smooth and light even compared to friends bikes that are brand new and way over priced.

It depends on condition, and components. Coming from waterford is a good thing. I was told my '89 OS paramount, w/ period dura ace stuff, in great condition, should sell for around $800-900, but I'm not selling.

Bikes: Willier Zero 7; Merlin Extralight; Calfee Dragonfly tandem, Calfee Adventure tandem; Cervelo P2; Motebecane Ti Fly 29er; Motebecanne Phantom Cross; Schwinn Paramount Track bike

I also have an 1989 OS.

Just looking at the tubing on the Op's pic, it doesn't look oversized.

However you guys might be right about the M. The serial number on my 0S is 600EMWF 89073

I have an 89 non-OS and it my absolute favorite road bike ever.....it is the one bike in my "signature" that I would never consider selling....
