I gave an offer of $100 and the owner said he'd already had offers of $800 and $1000. I was thinking "and he let those get away? greedy little bugger, ain't he?" but I wrote back to say they must know something more about the bike than I did.

Bikes: Giant Excursion, Raleigh Sports, Raleigh R.S.W. Compact, Motobecane? and about 20 more! OMG
I saw that too. It is an unusual bike, but not what I would consider $1500 unusual. If it were restored to like new showroom condition? I could see $500 or so, but that is just what I would spend. Time will tell...
