Benotto 500?

Looking for some details on a Benotto 500? I have read what I can find searching on bike forums and understand tracking model history on Benotto's is challenging. I have not read anyone mention a 500 model. Anyone have any details?

I am less concerned about the components since I plan to update. I am assuming by the model number this will be a low end Benotto and I would not be interested if the frame is a heavy hi tensile steel type frame. Are all Benotto frames considered to be high quality?

Thanks

Kirk

Benotto made a whole range of models. The best hi-tensile steel model was the 800, with models 850 and up being better tubing. Since Benotto's practice was to reflect increasing price with an increasing model model, a 500 would almost surely have a hi-tensile frame.

Thanks for the info. Not what I was hoping to hear, but makes the decision easier.
